Andy Farkas and Katherine McGinn
These two printmakers illustrated the third and fourth issue of our publication Em, and we designed and built book casings of Andy’s Four Stories, an elaborate and stunning collection of prints and stories for children. Katherine has designed a number of cards in our greeting card line.

Bimini Comics
A comic label started by Brandon Mise of Blue Barnhouse and his longtime friend John Murphy. Though they don’t have any titles for sale, there are two titles in production and you can check their progress on this site.

Stupid Creatures
Come see how old socks are reborn into a freakish existence, by their equally freakish master and creator, John Murphy. John is an illustratator as well and has collaborated with us on a number of posters and greeting cards.

Paper Monkey
Our sister letterpress studio on the West Coast. Very cool design and meticulous presswork.

Sean Mclain Brown
A writer and lecturer hailing from San Francisco State University’s MFA Creative Writing program, and an Editor at Luna Magazine, Sean has been a long time supporter of Blue Barnhouse and has been featured in several of our projects.

Spitfire Girl

We have become friends with Spitfire Girl at several trade shows– they make kitschy and funny gifts that complement our own work so well that we will be sharing a double booth with them at the 2009 Stationery Show.
John Paul Davis
Poet, designer and webguru, whom we collaborate with often- you can check out his design and web work at living pixel design.

Ryan Bednar
A web designer here in Asheville. He helped build the current Blue Barnhouse website.

shovemedia is run by Web Designer/Flash God Jon Williams. Jon made all the bells and whistles on this website a reality.

Welsh el Dorado
Purveyors of a cool new comic anthology, and home to cartoonist Aneurin Wright, who we are collaborating with on a graphic novel at bimini comics.

Glasses are Shields
Illustrator/photographer/painter/animator Matt Haber who does designs for our greeting card line. Check out his site, we’re jazzed to have him working with us.

Asheville Bookworks
Asheville’s own bookarts and letterpress studio/learning center for the south east region, right next door to Blue Barnhouse.

Fashion designer Brooke Priddy custom-makes dresses, tanks, and “dainties” for your handsewn garment pleasure.

Mark Batty Publisher
Run by former ITC Fonts president and publisher of the late great UL&C magazine, these folks publish great books about art, design, & typography. We are currently working with them on limited editions of some of their most popular titles, and were featured designers in their Green Design book.

French Broad Chocolates
We met Dan and Jael when they came to us for a logo & packaging needs. Now we go to them for luscious chocolate (organic & handmade!). If you are in the area check out their location in downtown Asheville.

Dan Essig
One of Asheville’s true gems- Dan Essig is a well respected book artist, and if you will pardon our french, he can do some crazy ass shit with wood and paper.
